PRESS RELEASE
Argea CEO, Ram Iyer, to be a featured panelist at CXO Breakfast Forum: Hidden Opportunities & Risks in Outsourcing: Maximizing Enterprise Value, Minimizing Enterprise Risk on December 2, 2004 in New York
29-Oct-2004

Breakfast forum seeks to assist companies with achieving their maximum competitive advantage through accelerated outsourcing innovation

New York (PRWEB) October 29, 2004 - On Thursday, December 2, 2004, Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner LLP will join Argea, Grant Thornton LLP and the International Association of Contract and Commercial Managers (IACCM) for a dynamic and interactive breakfast discussion with CXOs and other senior executives on outsourcing leadership and best practices.

“The Gartner Group noted that by 2005, 70% of enterprises will use more than three sources for service delivery in key areas, however, less than 10% will have the resources and processes in place to manage multiple sources for enterprise value. Many outsourcing projects meet tactical operational goals, but few create the innovation, flexibility and sustainable competitive advantage that drive corporate reputation, market leadership and growth. Initiatives are often constrained by applying traditional resources, practices and sourcing techniques,” observed Ram Iyer, Chief Executive Officer of Argea, an outsourcing consulting and services firm.

“Senior management has always focused on reaping the full return from outsourcing for strategic gain and this forum will discuss advanced means and methods that maximize outsourcing’s advantages and minimizes risks. Attendees will gain immediate insights and ideas to apply in the planning, implementation and management of outsourcing initiatives,” added Tim Cummins, Executive Director of the IACCM.

Dennis Callahan, CIO and Executive Vice President for the Guardian Life Insurance Company and Sid Millstein, Leader Global Sourcing Initiatives and Six Sigma Quality GE Capital and Julian Millstein, will add their unique perspectives on the strategic advantages available through outsourcing, as well as the most significant risks. Private meetings between the panelists and delegates may be arranged by request.

The invitation-only forum is scheduled for Thursday, December 2, 2004, from 8 AM to 10 AM at the law offices of Brown Raysman Millstein Steiner & Felder, 900 Third Avenue in New York. There is no cost for attending and reservations are being placed by email at efox@brownraysman.com. Information on the speakers, program and invitation requests are available by contacting Lee Swindall, Vice President of Marketing, Argea at lswindall@argea.com.
